I use digg to help promote my friends posts as some of them have a fighting chance of actually making it to the front page but do not bother using it for my own posts. If I post anything I think would attract a real lot of interest I will use Stumble instead. I am being much more careful about who I add to Digg and SU lately as I got tired of getting constant shouts for votes from people I did not really know and whose content was bordering on being spammy.

Who is Ross from Aussie Bloggers?  He is supposedly setting up a Digg circle.  He contacted me via a couple of my blogs but didn't say who he was or what blog he was from.  I would like to know if he is legitimate and if anyone else has heard from him.  Does it ring any bells?

Thank you.  I thought that even if it was legit it was a little unprofessional not ot include blog details.  Often we only know people if they mention their blogs.  I will give it a miss too.  i am not a 'digger' either.

We're in the process of putting together a statement on this, as this person has nothing to do with the forums at all. He has clicked through to every blog on the blogroll and outright spammed them. I got it twice myself.
