The following is an update from the 26th of May -

I have just opened up this thread again. The moderators and admins are still discussing the blogroll and whether we want it to be a list of Aussie blogs, or a list of blogs which belong to active members of the forums here.

Please note - we reserve the right to remove blogs from the blogroll at a future time, if we choose to switch to a list of blogs which belong to active members of the forums, or if we choose to go through and take out blogs belonging to people who have not shown up at the forums in a certain number of months..

In the meantime we will ONLY be adding the blogs of people who take the time to introduce themselves in the forum coincidentally named "Introduce Yourself".

If you have not introduced yourself, DO NOT expect your link to be added, DO NOT post in this thread asking for your link to be added.

We are not just giving out free links - we do want the blogroll to be worthwhile and a place where Aussie Bloggers can find fellow bloggers in their own state. Being listed on the blogroll is not a right, it is a gift that we are giving to the members of our forums.

It is sad that there are people out there so desperate for one link that they will sign up to these forums to get it. Newsflash - if all you are looking for is a link from us, you don't have to be on the blogroll. Put the link in your signature, and post once. There. We just linked to you. Now go away if that link was all you wanted. 

If what you are looking for is a community of people who help each other out, who genuinely believe in the Aussie Bloggers community and want to do anything they can to help a fellow blogger, then stick around. You'll get a LOT more than a free link from us. 

We would like to offer all forum members the opportunity to have their blogs listed on the blogroll we will soon be creating on our Aussie Bloggers blog.

If you would like us to put a link to your blog, please post in this thread with a link to your blog and the name of your blog.

Please let us know what state you reside in, as we will be categorising the blogs by state.

If you're not from Australia, let us know which country you're in. If you're from Australia but currently out of the country, you can choose to give us the state you normally reside in, or what country you're currently in.

You can post your link as a normal url -

http://www.snoskred.org/

In which case your link will have the title of your website.
If you want specific text linking to your blog, please put the text you want next to your link - eg -

http://www.snoskred.org/ Snoskred Australia

We may not be able to put too many words in, in order to keep the blogroll looking good. We will put as many as possible but don't expect us to link to you with zillions of keywords.

by using the code tag - it's the one in the editor with a hash # on it. You can hand-code the code tag by using <code></code> but substitute square brackets for the angle brackets.
