If yes, put your hand up in this thread. One of the trusty Admins will get back to you with a date we need your post by.

Be aware that your topic needs to relate to either Australia or Blogging, you can put a short bio of yourself and link back to your blog at the bottom of your post.

Keep It Clean - The admins reserve the right to remove swear words and material which is disturbing or graphic or overly sexual from any guests posts submitted.

Ideas for posts -

- Tell us about your Australian blog and link to some of your best posts.
- Talk about an Aussie movie you saw (review one with screenshots if you like)
- Talk about your favourite Aussie music/band
- Talk about blogging in Australia
- Talk about blogging in general
- Talk about an Australian blog you like
- Talk about a good post you saw on an Aussie blog
- do a wrap up of good Aussie posts you've seen
- talk about a trip you took in Australia
- post a photograph taken in Australia and talk about it a bit
- talk about an Australian product you love and why
- interview an Australian blogger

Of course these are only suggestions - there's many more possiblities I haven't thought of.

We are also looking for people willing to be interviewed about their blogging. You can put your hand up for that here in this thread as well.

You don't have to be Aussie to contribute a guest post or be interviewed, of course.

I've got an idea floating around in my head for a post about the many Australianisms that needed an explanation when I first arrived in the country last year.

There's every chance that I'll be up in "Little Australia" aka "Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort" for Australia day this year, so I'll put together some kind of Blog entry with photos etc covering the party if I end up there.

Is that something you'd be interested in?

Masey - That sounds exactly like something we'd be interested in. I'm thinking you might need 3-4 weeks to get this one done because Australia day is a week and a bit away..

There's a few ways you can get the post to us -

1. Just a normal text file
2. As text in an email
3. HTML code in a text file - if you want to put in your own formatting.

No worries mate! We are off to the UK for a holiday (with a toddler? yeah right!) next week so I will get it done soonest. Its a blog post I have been meaning to write forever so high time I get on and do it!

Oh I'd love to give this a go one day... I don't think I am good enough right now.. but I keep thinking about writing something about kids in Australia... or doing the tree-change.. or something....

Kate - there is no such thing as "good enough" when it comes to blogging. Everyone blogs in their own way and everyone is welcome to give this a try. Why not try writing a post and see?

I´m game to have a go at a post - maybe about being an Aussie overseas? Not sure about timing though, we´re off on hols for a month in 2 weeks time. Do you want it before then, or better to wait till I get back?

I'll put my hand up to be interviewed...the post I'll think about before I answer if that's ok? I tend to think interviews are a good way of getting to know someone..I love interviewing so I'll have a go at the other side of the coin...
