Don't make me release the monkeys!

What ya up to today? How's it going? Doing anything interesting tonight?

Me? I'm enjoying my last morning of peaceful bliss while the kids are at breakout (it's this summer day camp type thing with games, crafts and excursions). Later today I'm thinking I may take a nap when it gets too hot to even peek out the front door and that's as far as I'd thought ahead yet. lol

Well I've been off all week so haven't done a lot more than blog and muck around with themes. and it's much the same today...I've also been trawling some of the great blogs this site has brought together...some awesome stuff out there..

For the past two days work has been insanely busy to the point where I barely get time to eat lunch at my desk.  Today, it is dead therefore allowing me time to catch up on the forum and my neglected blog.

Today I am trying to catch up on outstanding blog work I have to do - sorting my email inbox to make sure I didn't miss anything or not reply to an email.. and I am hoping to get some blogging of my own done, maybe.

I also want to take a look at that feedreader Lani mentioned - time for a change I think.. bloglines isn't doing it for me.

Housework, 3rd installment of the conditioner in the hair to get rid of the blood sucking bastards (2 down, 2 to go, none found yet!) and some sitting on top of the aircon with the laptop.

My kids don't go anywhere!  They love staying home and we have kids dropping in all the time.  Party central apparently.

Well it's a little cooler here today so I really SHOULD get some housework done.  DH has taken all the kids for a couple of hours (into town) so it's nice and quiet and all I want to do is sit and enjoy the peace.   rsmiley

Yesterday was shithouse. My scooter (that I'd just gotten back) broke down twice on the way to work. In 40 degree heat. (Yes, Kelley, I love summer.) I was thisclose to being an emotional little girl and bursting into tears.

Pulled it together enough, and today was awesome. Laser shooting session, pool, basketball, and House.

My kids had NAPS this afternoon. NAPS!!  I couldn't believe it! - they are 11 and 8 - not exactly prime nap age anymore. lol

Hmmm, my day. It's 2AM and I'm working on website themes that don't quite line up. OK, that's normal.

Ya' know something - this is a great day. Know something else? Life is grand. It's pretty awesome. And Australia is a fantastic place that doesn't suck! I've met some great people and they don't all suck! (Sorry, but geek compliments are usually structured this way).

Have a good night.  Now back to shaving pixels.

I'm trying to get the Get A Real Blog ebook finished and I keep stopping to read the forums rsmiley

Cooking red beans 'n' rice (with some chicken breast chunks) fajita filling for lunch is a little distracting too rsmiley But Donna is here working on her new site so life is good.

Best regards, Andrew

Right now, its Saturday 238, and believe it or not, I am just having my morning coffee.

I've been on holidays since 21st December and don't return until 21st Jan, and my hours, sleeping, eating, socialising etc
are all out of whack!

Even now, my daughter 12 is still asleep. We are not going to bed until 3 am because we sit around   talking into the wee
hours of the morning.

AND its hard to interrrupt great two way conversations at 3 am, because I know from the ages of 13-16, I'll be lucky to
get a grunt out of her!

EEK. Gotta get into a workable routine, asap! rsmiley

Cheers

good to hear.

I'm having a very relaxing day. Haven't done a lot except just keep on top of the normal day to day stuff.

My sis in law is here getting hubby to check her car over after she just ran into her side gate. Poor thing

Today is mulching (with my new garden shredder) and getting rid of the garbage on the council clean up day.  A lot of exercise for the day which is grouse given the Fitness Challenge I have issued myself.
