This is something that drives me batty which I've been meaning to fix for ages.  I hate seeing trackbacks in the middle of a conversation.  (Love seeing trackbacks, of course, just not there!) But I just came across a guide to editing the code if any one else has been wanting to do this.

Of course, I could have figured it out from the codex, but this way it should make it a quicker process so I might actually get around to it.

I shall be looking into this myself.  I too like a trackback, but not at the expense of well constructed comments forming a discussion.  It just looks plain ugly!

Possibly, but why use a plugin when you can do it yourself, I reckon.  (If it turns out I can't do it myself, then...)
