I am http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=761312564.

That said, I have to say, I am still pretty much over FaceBook.

Cheers, Andrew

it's the way of the future  this is worth watching to see what is happening with social media , which we as bloggers are part of.

And remember you can opt out of being poked etc

I am thinking about it but am reluctant to try.  I spend enough time going through here, entrecard, and blog catalog.  Just don't know if I could fit the time in for facebook or myspace for that matter.

I'm so glad I didn't have a mouthful of coffee when I read that, Andrew.  That would have been another keyboard lost in the drink.

Well facebook has been slow going for me. I want to network with like minded individuals from the non-alcoholic drinks industry, I have an embarrassing low amount of superficial friends.  :'(

Here is little ol me
You can poke me (in the Facebook way of course), send me smiles, flowers and love (the link kind) but I am well over zombies, I don't want to decorate gingerbread cookies or know what celebrity I look like .................... rsmiley

One of the reasons I am on FB is that it is the only way of checking up on my daughter and finding out what she has been up to all the way over there in Perth - seriously though as  it is about the only application she is able to use at work, she can't even get into hotmail, it is a great way for us to communicate.

Facebook is just 'okay' and I pop on there from time to time http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=639579659

I'm really enjoying Twitter more since it's occurring in real time.

I 'm finding twitter far better and i'm right now using it Startups Carnival Update, 2008.
Its really good, because its short and instantaneous

I am there to:

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=759410152

But I'm so over facebook.  I only visit once and while.. don't send me any application requested as I'm just ignoring them. All my facebook notifications are set to off.

CannedTuna, good point. just today I went into my profile and cleaned house 'cause I got all wrapped up in the various apps and my profile got ridiculous. No more of those for me, just nice and clean looking.

Hi folks,

I am giving Facebook another go, and sent out a heap of invitations today to those people I've come to know since basically giving up on it.

If you didn't receive an invitation, please send one to me - here is my profile.

I'm still pretty sure I don't want to be a Ninja, a Pirate, a Pet, a Hot Date, Kissed, pseudo-categorised by which anime girl I am, etc rsmiley But I can see the benefit of it as a networking tool, even if it is mostly used for fun rather than work.

Cheers, Andrew
