The authority on my old blog (ie old URL of my blog) seems to be rising at the moment while my current URL is stationery. It seems me LEAVING a blog is the way to improve my rankings!!!!

Maybe there is a secret there that is worth money - you could make a living leaving blogs to boost their rankings

I've always had trouble with Technorati, whether it's indexing problem or authority not being updated for a month. I checked back in a few days ago, after registering BP when I first got the site, and it was listing some car blog as mine, which I "de-claimed; then I couldn't reclaim BP. Seriously sucky.
Or blowy. Whichever.

Normally I wouldn't watch it quite so closely but I am 1 little authority point from reaching where my blog was before I switched to self hosting (mind you, my other blog has risen another 5 points in total since the move so I'm still 6 points behind that
). It was going to kind of be a milestone for the *new* site to catch up to the old one. But it keeps getting away from me.

True, the less I do, the more RSS subscribers I get too!
Well, one thing I do have many more of since switching to my own domain is RSS subscribers. I put it down to my beautiful pink RSS button that Snoskred designed.

I just pinged my blog on technorati and the authority jumped 4 points!!!
Thing is, I pinged all my blogs while I was there and my old blog jumped 2 points!
So it's still ahead.
