What blog post do you think is your best ever?

It could be for many reasons -

- most views
- best writing
- turned out exactly how you wanted it to when you thought of the post in your head
- most comments
- most linked to by others

I'll answer this one later but I thought I'd like to see some links from others - it may be a post I missed out on reading!

I would like every post to have this many readers. That would please me

I've got hundreds that are more popular and written better, but I really enjoy this one, from New Years Eve 2001-2002 as I crossed the California border.

There's another great one about a discrepancy in the reported size of the US military, but I'm still waiting to see if an investigative journalist will pick it up (I've contacted a few) - it's a potentially explosive story. The most popular ever is a function to convert relative to absolute URLs in PHP.

We went to a trivia night with my friends parents.  I was the youngest on the table (by the end of the night On.The.Table) the oldest was 85.

We called our team Camel Toe and chanted it all night.  Wish Lindsay was there.  She would have added some class to the event

Mmmmmm my favourite post is Eating Locally - I have a bunch of other ones that I probably like even more but this is the one that always comes to mind.

I've taken a while to answer this because I needed to think about it.

My personal favourite is How Did This Happen?  It talks about the nervous breakdown I had so I guess it's the most "personal" post I've written.  It's part of a series I wrote that I need to go back and fix all the links in as they currently point back to my old blogger blog.

My most viewed post was Candy Cane Bathsalts.  I had 1080 visits that day - about 10 times my usual number!!!!  It was stumbled and then restumbled a few times.  They ended up being very popular gifts too!

Seems there's been a flurry of recent interest in an article I wrote a couple years ago on how to build an atomic bomb. Canadians this time. Who would've thought? I'll be polite and not post the link here. For those that are insatiably curious, the word 'collimators' might turn out to be useful.
