blogger issues and msn
«

I have been receiving quite a few friend requests on msn from my blogger site, you know the usual stuff, girls etc or people wanting to give me free web designs etc. Is this a normal thing for them to get my email from blogger and add me to msn, I am not liking it!!

Sounds like a spam tactic to me.
Use a seperate email address for your blog. Don't do anything else with this email address.
If you don't self host your blog gmail is a good choice due to the spam filters. Also when you list your contact email on the blog use some sort of encryption. Wordpress has this in it's codex, not sure about other platforms.
