And it's certainly not blogger's block.

It's lack of time.

Every single day I quite literally have dozens of ideas for blog posts. I just don't have the time to research and write them all up. Or, indeed, write almost ANY of them up. I'll be lucky to get two pieces of writing done each week.

What's the answer?

I think I need to win lotto and retire to maintain my blogs rsmiley

You and me both rsmiley

I have some great ideas each day for posts but I find that the moment passes and then the inspiration is gone. And most days the only time that I have to write posts is late at night - by that stage I'm usually so tired that the chances of a coherent post are pretty low so I don't bother. Maybe one day we can win Lotto...........

Time is also my problem here. My uni this semester is totally stressing me out, and it's only going to get worse. I can't see any part of my desk at the moment, my mouse is being used on top of whatever piece of paper is on top at that moment.

I have far too many things I need to be doing.

I've taken to keeping paper and pen handy and doing drafts...but hey, lotto is a better idea for sure!

Full time blogging?

Sounds like heaven to me....

I keep meaning to do that but never actually do.

I also have thought about putting down a few ideas and save them as a draft post to go back and fill in later, just so that the idea isn't lost. Haven't done that either rundecided

ahem, back to the topic...

I used to make lots of drafts in Live Writer, some with just a title or an opening sentence or a few notes or a link.

But I never finished them anyway so now I don't bother.

Sowwy...but at least you know I'm back I guess, being the worst in the world for getting off topic...
xtongue <---- me tring to look suitably ashamed....

I used to use Live Writer, but for some reason I've not dowloaded it since getting my new laptop, not sure why.

I will admit the paper thing is easier somehow. Maybe because the book is always beside me and in my face perhaps?

As to your original dilemma, well I guess we all do what we can, and in the best way possible way.

Really, can we do any more than that?

I'm more for quality as opposed to quantity anyway...

Hahaha, I wasn't telling you off Anonymum... I'm an OT offender too. But Gemisht's comment got me thinking about what happened to all the drafts I used to write: nothing rsmiley

Yeah I went OT too - that's unlike us to do that???  rgrin

I know other people use drafts to "jot down" ideas then flesh it out later, but I need to write "in the moment" which is why I also find it difficult to do a few posts and schedule them ahead of time. Probably because the writing side is not something that ever really came easily to me. It is getting easier though. Now if it was talking rather than writing, no problem - your ears would be falling off lol

Funny post, not enough ideas? I actually blogged about not having enough time.

Guess you just need to make yourself sit back from life every few days and get to typing!

Or, if your one of those people who just gets amazing ideas randomly throughout the day thanks to technology you can blog from your mobile. Crazy!

Now there's an idea!

Damn, I'd never run out of posts if I did that!! Me and blondie could have it all happening!!!

Then again, we'd probably spend most of our time laughing....not that there's anything wrong with that!
