Hi Folks,

I've added Get A Real Blog to the Aussie Bloggers on Entrecard page to try and get some more ebook downloads happening.

This is my second blog in the Aussie Bloggers on Entrecard list - if anyone feels weird about it please let me know either here or via personal message and I'll take it down - I don't want to appear to be hogging the list

If everyone is OK with it though - the quid pro quo is that if you are running multiple Entrecard blogs yourself and would like your other blogs added to this list then please let me know.

No problems with me! Entrecard makes you have separate cards and accounts for separate blogs, don´t they?

No reason why you shouldn´t list all your blogs there. I´m just grateful that you´ve listed them all in one place so its easier to card drop (when I get around to it!)

Well as of tonight I'm giving Entrecard a go. I think it's already given me a bit of traffic, and I like being able to choose who I'm advertising, but I have a question... what exactly is the point of 'dropping your card'? Seems a little like spam to me.

It isn't spam, because the other Entrecarders want you to drop cards on them - you get points for it, their ad price goes up

The advertisement price on your blog is derived from the number of cards dropped on you averaged over the past 7 days, I think it is 7 rest assured it is a time period.  So you really want a steady number to keep your ad price reasonable.  So dropping your card, and being dropped on is good.

I figured it can't hurt and might increase my traffic a little with the new blog... even though I really have no idea what I am doing! LOL Is it bad that I don't want to approve ads from people with crappy looking cards?? LOL

I anyone wants help to put a simple card together I am more than happy to have a play with your images and/or words in photoshop for you. PM me or if I ever get the contact form working on my blog drop me a line and let me know!

I have received more traffic from Entrecard than any other one source this month. Most new people commenting on my blog have come along as a result of these forums though - thanks folks.

Hi,

as an alternative to the Aussie Bloggers on Entrecard page - Ian has pointed out that there is now a "Nearest" tab under Campaign in the Entrecard dashboard. You do need to fill out location information to access it, not sure if everyone will feel comfortable about doing this, but by the look of it enough people are such that I have 30 other Australian blogs in my "Nearest" list.
