I shall have a read.  From what I have read so far, AdSense seems like the easiest place to start but I have a lot to learn before I'm ready to make a decision.

BlogHer is the top of my list.  I think it's the only program I've seen that I would be happy putting on my personal blog.

BlogHer is currently shut to new applicants, but hopefully will re-open sometime soon - it is great.

Youch.  I'd better find out if I'm still able to finalise the application I filled out.  Thanks for the info.

BlogHer, Auctionads and adsense.

AuctionAds was good for me for about two months, right before it changed hands i think. From then on I've had stacks of impressions etc. but zero revenue.

Hi Leigh, I tried clicking on your links in your sig but they aren't working. Looks like there's an extra http:// in front of both of them.

Google AdSense, affiliation sales (clixGalore/CommissionMonster) and private ads.

Too busy to think about how to monetise a site, but Google AdSense seems to be easy enough -- just paste in the code and wait for the direct deposit near the end of each month rsmiley

I have only just put ads on my site so no $$ yet  rsad It will be interesting to see if any materialises. I put adsense and amazon affiliates in and I tried widgetbucks briefly but it kept giving me ads in Spanish (either because my IP address is mexico, or because I talk about mexico, I donīt know). I still havenīt had a reply to my email a week ago so I took it off. Anyway, I noticed its only for clicks from the US and Canada so maybe it wouldnīt have made much anyway. Has anyone else used this successfully?

Also just checked out commission monster and noticed itīs Australian. Are any of the other money making programs people have used particularly good when you have a lot of Australian readers?

It really depends on the topic of your blog.  My blog is a "Freebies" blog so it does well with, surveys, competitions and free sign ups.

Adsense, Text-Link Ads - But lately, Linkworth url (no aff link) is paying 70% for bloggers. So, I might drop TLA soon.

Could you explain a bit more about private ad sales and where you get them from, please, Leigh. I am a complete ignoramus when it comes to blog money making.

Hi

I always find this question interesting as I think most income streams depend on your content and design. What works for one blog may not work for another. I also find it interesting that no one has mentioned Rubicon - has any one heard of them?

What I like is that it takes nearly all the PPC ads that have been mentioned and displays them on a rotation basis in the one banner. Instead of having ad space for each ad network, and an ad account for each network - through Rubicon you have one banner (or more = up to you), you get choose which ad networks, and it is only one account you have to watch for payment etc. They even have adsense included. Does anyone else use them? My revenue is about 3 x what I was getting previous.
