Amazon state that they only pay Affiliates by U.S. dollar cheque (sorry, check!).

Interested in hearing from others in Australia on their experience at getting paid by Amazon.

How do you handle getting these cheques processed by Australian banks ?

Thanks,
David

While I haven't received a cheque from Amazon I have received several from clickbank.

The biggest downfall is the cost to bank the darn thing - while it may vary from bank to bank it costs me $10.50 to bank an American cheque (BankSA). Then it takes 20 business days to clear.

Thankfully so far the exchange rate has always been pretty good when I've done it so if nothing else that covers the cost of banking it over and above the amount of the cheque.

I'm assuming amazon would be the same - hopefully though they may eventually look at direct depositing like google does as does clickbank once you meet a certain criteria (which thankfully should be next month for me)

Cheers

Heck, at least you've made something from them. I haven't made a dime yet. I remember Darren Rowse complaining about it taking so long to get a cheque. Man if I was making as much as him I wouldn't be complaining at all.
