Hi,
It is much more convenient for me to write posts offline and email them to blogger and then touch up before posting (because my internet is slow) - but I am getting frustrated because they all seem to end up with different text formatting and sizes and sometimes the line breaks get messed up too.  Anyway, all the posts look slightly different when I post them.  And checking on the blogger preview is no help at all as it seems to have random differences to how the post will finally look too.  Maybe I need to change the settings in my email?  Does anyone else send posts by email?  Can you help?

Are you emailing them in html email or plain text?

Also, what program do you use to write your emails? Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Apple Mail etc... They all do formatting in different ways.

Have you thought about using an offline blogging program? I use Windows Live Writer and find it's really convenient - not because I have a problem with my internet speed (I generally don't) but because it lets me start and manage drafts, resize and crop images etc for multiple blogs, all from the same interface.

I use windows live writer.  It will even give you a preview of what it'll look like on your blog (collects your blog information after you provide your password).  Having said that, I've not used it with blogger so not 100% sure it works with blogger.

It does involve downloading a program from the net which might be problematic with a slow connection but once that is done, it's fabulous.

I tend to use it when I'm away to write a post and then only have to pay a smaller connection fee (or free at McDonalds) to send it to my blog.

I'm using Outlook Express for email - and I'm definitely going to look at all the settings.
But I think the LiveWriter thing sounds like the best idea and I'll look into that.
Thank you for your ideas.
