How do I create tabs like on this site?
http://www.clientcaresolution.com/
There must be a plugin or code of something for this?

And yes, I just found that too.
I've also found out they should be inbuilt in the theme I'm working on (Revolution 2) but can't work out why they're not. I'll have to go back to the original theme code as I've inherited it from someone else.

Haven't figured it out yet - something CSS, all the menus have been pull 999em to the left and something appear in place but not with script. Grh. Give me a few more minutes.

That's what this blog is built on - I'm just starting to get a picture of what's supposed to happen as the client hasn't been able to explain it to me. We're using Revolution but the drop down menus aren't happening and I don't know what was done or modified to the theme before I took it on. I know the site itself has tons of plugins so I don't know if any of those are preventing it from happening. I found the original code in the original file but when I put that in the header.php it just made one long tab instead of tabs for the main pages across the top.

It could be CSS as Nathanael says - quick way of testing would be to append the original navigation CSS code to the end of your stylesheet to see if this works. Check first to make sure the navigation ids and classes used in your theme match those of the Revolution theme. Make sure you have all the js files you need too and any calls to these in your index file. I think Revolution uses tabber.js with Mootools. You need the mootools js file in there as well as tabber.js plus some extra script in your header. Take a look at the source code for a site based on Revolution if you don't have the original version. I went and had a look at prizetastic :-)

I ended up replacing the current header.php with the orginal file but it's not a good look ;(The original file is supposed to have this built in so there must be modifications that's been made that have stopped it from working, or a plugin or something. Not having the history of how this was built means I'm working blindly. I do have the original theme but there have been heaps of changes made by two previous people.

Replacing the css didn't work and those js files aren't there at all, there are different ones. I did replace the header.php with the original and whilst it has the tabs there, they don't drop down except for the home page one that has the whole list in red text down permanently.

It's not JavaScript - I disabled JS with the WDT when testing the ClientCare site ...

I ended up paying someone who says this:
I've modifed the header.php file and the style.css to get the navbar fixed.
Also, I changed page_home.php to edit the boxes at the bottom of the home page. To make life a little easier, I added a plug-in called Page-Link-Manager. It adds a check box on the edit page window which allows you to select whether you want a page included in the site navigation or not. There were three pages that I marked as 'not include'. This is a lot tidier than editing the header.php code when a new page is added....
Took her a couple of hours to do it and was worth paying for.
Thanks for checking Sue.

I know this has already been sorted by the OP but for anyone else, check out the
Multi-level Navigation Plugin for WordPress
plugin from PixoPoint. It's not perfect (clashes with AdSense for example) but it does the trick in most cases.
