I don't think I'll join in this year.

I'm sorry that neither of you have received your Secret Santa presents
Kin was coordinating the whole thing so she is the only one that knows who you should have been receiving gifts from. I will send her a PM so that she doesn't miss this thread and get her to get in touch with the people concerned.
Unfortunately a few of the people involved haven't been seen at the Forum recently so I think maybe this has been an exercise in the worst of human nature - people out to get something for themselves. Although, I would love it if the people concerned turned up here at the Forum and proved me wrong.

I'll make sure you guys get something, even if I have to send it myself.
First we will try asking those people who were given your names to please explain and give them a chance to send the santas..
And if they don't send what they promised they would.. I'll do it myself.

Howdy guys,
I had actually forgotten about this for a while with all the holidaying etc I was doing over the christmas period. I even neglected to blog on my site for some time...
anyway I did receive my secret santa gift from a friendly admin
A nice little usb key.
Anyway, I hope my secret santa recipient doesn't mind, but their gift might be turning up in the next few days.... I completely forgot to post it!! Very sorry about that guys!
Hope everyone had a great christmas.
Cheers,
Kris

I sent mine but the person it was going to hasn't been on here for quite some time so I've not heard what they thought.

I'm soooooo embarrassed --
I sent my secret santa a bunch of "office" thingies. I thought I'd read the rules correctly and that it was an "office" santa - stationery and stuff. I was pretty happy with the range of useful stuff I'd sent...
.... until...
I received a beautiful meditations book from my secret santa. It was so thoughtful, and obviously hand-picked and sent with a great deal of consideration put into it. I'm so grateful for this beautiful little gift.
And then I got embarrassed because the secret recipient I sent my gift to would not have got the same buzz that I got.
So to my secret giftee, I promise I'll try harder this year, and
to my secret santa who gave me the book, THANK YOU, you have inspired me to break rules ;-)
Love,
Anita

Anita the "theme" was office/stationery so you did well with what you sent - don't be embarrassed
If your gift sender has put some extra thought into their gift for you and its something really appropriate for you, then that's even better. Well done to them and its great to hear that you got something that you really enjoy.

I'm a stationery junkie so what I received I totally loved. I'm sure your recipient would have felt the same.

although my daughter stole my pencil case for school
She's so excited about school though, what do you do?

Wait till she's asleep, nick it, then blame the bad pencil case fairy.

Still no Santa and it's almost March
I have ordered an ancient Babooshka Russian curse via elance for my shonky Office Santa giver.
Cost me $15 US and was: Май блох из тысячи верблюдов кишеть чресла ваши и ваших дерьмо превратится в гольф мячей.
To lift the curse, my Office Santa has to have something, anything, even a box of matches or a Wettex, in the post to me by Lenin's birthday.

My recipient hasn't posted about it either to my knowledge. Hopefully that's because they forgot to do it, rather than not like what I sent them.

Yippee ! My present has arrived, and well before Lenin's birthday.
Not too shabby. A To-Do list memo pad, a beware the dog sticker, a Zen calendar block and a lovely card.
It's interesting that it just so happens that I will become a dog owner this week. Must be Karma or something.
Thanks Santa. Thanks Kin. Woof Woof

I got mine a long time ago, but they didn't say who sent it, so I have no idea who my Santa was.
Hey Squadron - those day planner things are TEH AWESOME! I love them, use them every day..

Still nothing ... but I'm not fussed. The person I bought for said they liked what they got for them and that's good enough for me.

Don't worry. Karma will catch up eventually. It always does, good and bad. You will get Karma good points, your slacker-santa will get de-merits.

I thought the idea was to be anonymous? At any rate the person I sent to hasn't posted that they've received theirs or blogged about it to my knowledge. I've heard from another source that they did receive it but that wasn't till a long time after. I was thinking it must have gone missing in the post or something. I just hope they liked it.
