That's a nice theme you chose there, Mike.
Thanks Snos
The import/migration process was just incredible and I'm loving the statistics that come available by default. I definitely see what people mean about Wordpress looking more professional than Blogger - so yeah I'm pretty happy with the set up. That said I need to make some minor adjustments (e.g. comment font size is pretty small by default), but isn't that always the case
I suspect I'll end up going self-hosted at some point, especially if I start really wanting to experiment with plugins and add-ons. But in the meantime I've opted for the sleek minimalist look
Not sure whether I'll migrate the Peasants are Revolting though. Having my personal blog on a completely different provider (Blogger) sort of reinforces the separation in purpose. But who knows, I'm always tinkering...

You've heard from a lot of people about various things. I used to be with Blogger but now I'm mainly Wordpress. I still have 2 blogs at Blogger, just to keep my hand in (I assist clients with their blogs) but I much prefer Wordpress. I have my own VDS so purchasing a domain and setting up a webspace to install Wordpress can be done in less than an hour and I'm up and running. So many templates to choose from - I've been known to start up a new blog simply because I fell in love with a template. I know, I know, sic huh?
One thing I love about Wordpress is that I can prepost blog entries and they won't publish till the date and time I set. Last time I looked (not that long ago) you couldn't do that with Blogger. That in itself is a feature I love.

I can host multiple domains with my host so have a separate domain name for my personal site - family photos, geneology that sort of thing. If you could do this then there would still be a separation between the two blogs.
