Thanks for those resources.
I tried a few of those
Free Blogger Skins
for my new gardening journal blog and found them the easiest by far to install. I ended up using the
Wildflowers
template and I'm really happy with how it has come up.

What caught my eye is that this website is a blogspot one that is using the same template as my wordpress theme for Lightening's Blogworld. I can't vouch for how easy they are to install but there's some great looking templates there.
