Hi -

Came across this tool at http://www.zementa.com last week... it is a Firefox plugin that suggests images (from flickr) as you write your post in wordpress,,,it also suggests wiki links and articles you can link to.

I've been trialling it and I have to say the jury is still out

Might be worth a look though...it is a real time saver.

Hi Kel,

zementa.com isn't showing up - the page is just blank - no error message. Is this the right address?

The plugin is Zemanta and the site  http://www.zemanta.com/

I used the plugin for a while but did not find it very useful for my own purposes - may be more useful if your blog keywords lend themselves more to images. You can take a look at it in action in a post I did about it here - Zemanta Launches

I will look at it ASAP.

Given that you and I blog about similar things a lot of the time, it might not be much use to me either

Images - I guess a lot of blogs that use images (like geoblogs and product review blogs) would take their own images, and the blogs that use images as scenery (to illustrate a story) may not use keywords that lend themselves to specific images, but I could be wrong. It is a fascinating concept
