what annoyed me was this:

Speak Up Sydney is an exciting new initiative to help strengthen the tie between Sydney's local community and its businesses and we need to let as many Sydney-siders know about this as possible. And that of course includes you.

No, of course it doesn't include me - I don't live in Sydney So they rank right up there with the people telling me that my dick isn't big enough, my credit needs repairing, or that I need to find the best deal on Wisconsin real estate

yeah, it is fair to presume Andrew does, but I get a bit worried when they presume I do! 

I've been using the cream and I still don't have one.

No need to apologise Andrew, your email was meant with all the best intentions.  In fact, I consider you to be a remarkably generous man to have offered your help to the person you thought was spamming you.

I dont think there is any need to remove your post, unless it's already too late and you have already done so.

I should have been more careful about how i worded my email.
