Hmm.  I don't know a couple of those.  I'll have to look them up.  But I was just listening to The Pogues last night.  xgrin

It was a fairly Celtic-y sample overall. Black Label Society and Stormwitch are heavy guitar oldschool metal.

Cheers, Andrew

How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You) - Marvin Gaye
Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us - My Chemical Romance
The Great Destroyer - Nine Inch Nails
You Know How I Do - Taking Back Sunday
Make It End - Baby Animals

Bonfires In My Head

1. Cleavage - My World
2. Madonna - Beautiful Stranger
3. Nirvana - Plateau
4. The Killers - Mr Brightside
5. Linkin Park - In The End
6. Crowded House - I Feel Posessed
7. Kylie Minogue - On A Night Like This (which always reminds me of Antony Green after I wrote this post)
8. Metallica - Enter Sandman
9. Roy Orbison - In Dreams
10. Robbie Williams - By All Means Necessary.

And that's kinda freaky that some of the artists who appeared the last time I did this appeared again considering that I have 707 songs on my playlist and very few of them are by the same people (other than Robbie and Kylie)

I'm going to do this with my full Winamp library (1609 tracks, but that isn't all that I have on the computer, cos I just moved some stuff back from my laptop)

1. Gran Combo - Te Quiero Ver (Bomba) {from an album called Bombas y Plenas...actually it's not too bad of a track, even if the reason I got it totally escapes me!}
2. INXS - Bitter Tears
3. Pink Floyd - Run Like Hell
4. Gary Jules - Mad World (this was used in a ninemsn ad a few years ago, the version they used had a woman singing it, but it's an interesting song)
5. Crowded House - Left Hand (Live)
6. U2 - Vertigo
7. Sinik - Coeur de Pierre (rofl, French rap...xlaugh scarily enough, it isn't half bad...)
8. Linkin Park - Ntr\mssion (I'm guessing Intermission? - it's only 29 sec long)
9. Linkin Park - Forgotten
10. Pink Floyd - In The Flesh?

1600+ tracks, and I have two pairs of same artists? The good thing is that I've found some cool stuff that I'd forgotten about again. rwink

I'm not sure it'd be that much different with my regular playlist loaded, but I think I'll leave that for another time rwink

You did get a few of the same, Snosk.  After reading your list, I had to put on Mr. Brightside. Loud.  xgrin

And Sephy, I had forgotten the Mad World was used in the NineMSN ad.  That really peed me off at the time. The Jules version is huge though.  (I love Donnie Darko)  In fact, his cover ranks in my top ten songs of all time.  Going to stick that on repeat right now.

Black Label Society are well worth a listen. Zakk Wylde is a guitar legend, and he's starting to sound a little like ozzy osbourne vocally as well.

One of my all time favourite songs!

But it has been overused in ads, movies, TV shows....

5383 songs on my ipod. Half of them I don't know! It has the entire music collection of the whole family on it, so this could be an interesting mix this time:

1. Not for You - Pearl Jam
2. Love Her Madly - The Doors
3. Ghost Town - The Specials
4. On the Ning Nang Nong - Play School (!!)
5. Another Lonely Day - Ben Harper (no song list of mine would be complete without at least one Ben Harper song)
6. Matinee - Franz Ferdinand
7. Blind Eye - Hunters & Collectors (aahh, a bit of Hunners - classic Aussie Rock!)
8. Unit 9B - Colloquial Spanish of Latin America (learning about Public Transport)
9. Don't Think Twice, It's Alright - The Waifs
10. Kick a Hole in the Sky - You Am I

Thanks Andrew, but I know a lot of people that'd disagree with you! rtongue
