Not so much reliant as in "oh no I can't work without" - more reliant as in "ach, I will have to work instead of continue my favourite addiction"!
I don't think I even have your blogworld on my lines - ah, something to add, then...

Agreed, although I haven't bookmarked my regular read blogs anywhere else so have to go by memory.
As for the blogworld blog - that's okay. I don't expect everybody to be interested in everything I write. Just most people.

I've been able to visit some I know update regularly by clicking on the blog link in bloglines. But would take forever for me to check them all. And I really do need to get on to the housework which I've been neglecting whilst doing our weekly accounts, working on Kinder fundraising stuff and painting the girls new bookshelf. Ahhh multi tasking, the joys.

Good point. Didn't think of that! Doh! I have visited a number as I hadn't had a chance to visit my Smiley Saturday participants yet.
Must admit I'm pretty pleased with the amount of housework I have gotten done today, especially considering I was out this morning. Taking a break now before the older 2 get home from school (DD has a piano lesson with me after school on Monday's so need to be nice and fresh to deal with that).

It's happening to everyone- or so their forum says (and no update from bloglines either

http://www.bloglines.com/forums/read.php?13,2007
Someone mentioned in one of the threads that the owners were shutting bloglines down anyway
Not sure if I believe that though!

I reckon it might be a good time to export your subscriptions as an OPML file so you've got a backup if it gets any worse.

Seems to be up and running again although the feeds are coming through in fits and starts. Some blogs I *know* have been updated are not showing yet - like Lightenings post from this morning.

I use Yahoo and it uses the same ID that I use for other stuff (FIA for instance Lightening etc) so it was dead easy to set up. But, I tend to use Yahoo for the majority of stuff cause I hate Google and only use it if there are no other options
Edited - changed as I typed Google instead of Yahoo - oopps

I noticed that they have not updated their bloglines news blog for a very long time indeed...
It would be a pity if they did fold - but at least I now have my backup of all my blogs!

I just started using Newsgator's
FeedDemon
, a now free desktop reader, and used its inbuilt "import from Bloglines feature". It retained all the folder structure too.
