That's easy! Steve Parish. Does lots of nature shots and produces calendars, posters, picture books and so on. I've always loved his photography.  These are a couple of his sites.

I found this while browsing entrecards tonight - one of these photographers might ring a bell.

Yes, I thought so.  Actually gives me an idea for a post sometime ... big events that happened in the world and what were you doing when you heard about them?

That is a great idea - your Top # Where I was When...  I might just have to copy you when you've written it. (With appropriate linkage of course.  xwink)

Thank you to those who posted links for me to meander around. I did find some interesting photographers. Now to decide which to go with for my presentation.
I really like Dennis Hogan's landscape photos but Thomas Barbey really captured my attention so I will probably go with him. He has the creative genius to take a fantastic photo and manipulate it into a phenomenal work of art.................stunning!!!

Thanks again I really appreciate all the help!  :rsmiley:

Great links, I am going to spend some time this rainy morning looking through all the photographers for inspiration!

My favourites in no particular order are;

Chase Jarvis
Jeremy Cowart
Marino Paristto Vay
Sarah Kehoe

They're all commercial photographers that are producing some really fantastic imagery and are really getting creative with both light and subject. These photographers are on the cutting edge of digital photography and are big inspirations for me.
