Having recently had a very poor experience  xcry  with my hosting provider (who shall remain namless for the time being) I am at a loss as to where I might find a reliable and credible Hosting provider.
I am keen to support Aussie, but foremost is reliable, cost effective, features etc...

I'd really appreciate some thoughts from you who have had good experiences with your hosting provider.  xsmiley

Thanks in advance

Depending on what you need, there's a lot out there. I use Fasthit.net - they are Perth-based and I get excellent support from them.

Don't tell me that the company name starts with 'M' and ends with 'D' rsmiley

There are at least 4 different Australian hosting companies coming to my forum posting special discount for customers of that hosting company (around 50%-60% off first invoice) over the last two days. I heard it was pretty serious.

As for me, I have used Jumba (Canbarra based servers) and Web24 (Melbourne based servers) and both are fine. Web24 is handling my forums at the moment doing as many as 15,000 page views per day and has no problem.

try ausweb.com.au
We started on them using a normal reseller account, now they host our dedicated servers,
24/7 support, good customer service and easy to deal with.

I have been with Netlogistics for about 2yrs now and couldn't be happier. Their service and support is amazing and the prices are pretty good too.

I am gonna jump to Digital Pacific.  I lodged a sales query that was dealt with in minutes.  Plus their prices and services look good.

In fact cheaper than the Moronic Dominion, oops MD.

Hi gacjezv

We are currently hosting a couple of blogs for neerav (I think neerav is using wordpress for his Road Less Travelled Blog). If you are still looking for a new home for your site, please send me a private message and I might be able to give you a special deal. In the past we have been giving away some hosting accounts for use with non-profit websites.

I started off with Aussie hosting through Smarty Host but found out they were using a US server anyway. I was not too happy with their service either. So I decided to go direct to US, pay less and get a lot more for my money with Hostgator - unlimited domains and subdomains. Rather than having to wait up to 2 days for an answer to a query I can get an immediate response through their 24 hour chat.

I got a similar deal with ozehosts.com who are in Perth and they've looked after me well too.
