Karen Andrews

Her personal blog is Miscellaneous Adventures of an Aussie Mum, whereat she ruminates on her experiences of being a parent and dabbles a little in whatever takes her fancy; mostly books and writing, though.
I have a particular interest in seeing where – and by what means – blogging will increase in profile and popularity in Australia in the years to come, and think, perhaps, Aussie Bloggers might make a contribution towards this. I can only hope so!”

Blogging has really given her so much more than she ever expected it to!!! She has been particularly touched by how friendly and helpful other Aussie Bloggers have been to her. Her other interests include punctuation marks (???!!!???), smileys, making people smile, gardening, playing piano, cooking, reading, writing, cross-stitch and other simple crafts.

Colin Campbell

I am a Scottish refugee living in Adelaide with my partner, two young kids, some animals and plants, five kilts and a computer. The content of my blog, Adelaide Green Porridge Cafe focuses on stuff and nonsense and is more changeable than the Scottish weather and at least some of it is true. Look for some parochial humour, out there observations and some reasoned discourse on politics, cricket and family life. I have lived in Australia for five years after many years living and working in the USA and Asia Pacific. I work part time in environmental consulting , primarily contaminated land. The rest of the time I am consumed with domestic drudgery and child taming.
Kelley

Kelley’s blog ‘Magneto Bold Too‘ takes its name from her son’s love of all things font. A font savant if you will. She writes about the comical, stupid, bizarre and sad events we all face in our lives with a slightly potty mouthed slant. Not for the feint hearted but with a loyal following of wonderful lovelies. Magneto Bold Too is like a coffee shop complete with coffee, chocolate and a tiny bit of shoe obsession.
Sue

I am a Yorkshire lass by birth (and accent), coming to Australia mid 20’s (age not year). After a ‘pre-kids’ career in Human Resources in the City of London, I ended up a SAHM doing part time accounts work from home!? On discovering a love for web design, I gladly swapped bottom lines for footers, DR and CR for HTML and CSS and have not looked back. Along the track I discovered a passion for the subject of blogging so it seemed natural to blog about it, which I do at Blogging Sueblimely.
John Lampard

I am Sydney based web designer turned content producer, freelance writer, and general jack of all trades. I designed my first website in 1997 using NotePad and PhotoShop 3 after trying to work out how the likes of Microsoft and Yahoo! did it. Needless to say I turned elsewhere for design inspiration rather quickly. I can usually be found at disassociated.com where I talk about anything and everything, and vainly attempt to deal with an obsessive over-reliance on the Wordpress timestamp function..
Christine Parfitt

Christine Parfitt is a search marketing strategist and the founder of Semfire, a search marketing company based in Australia. She specialises in paid search and shares news and best practices at Semfire Search Engine Marketing Blog.
Sephyroth

Sephyroth is the first contributor to the Aussie Bloggers blog who can’t hold an Australian passport. He lives in the USA and has never actually been down under, but has an affinity for the country, billing himself as an “Aussie in Training,” with a weakness for Tim-Tams, cricket and the Aussie accent. Sephy blogs at Sephy’s Platzish where he writes about just about anything from his daily life, to blogging issues, sport, and even photo posts about food he makes.
Sephy also likes to help people, and is always willing to lend a hand if he is asked for some help. Among his most popular posts are how-to posts, which show how to do a variety of different things from getting started with FeedBurner, to using the advanced editor in WordPress.
Kay Smoljak

Kay Smoljak (aka the goatlady) is a Perth-based web developer and unashamed internet addict. She blogs on web development at kay lives here and on ColdFusion for Sitepoint, as well as occasionally on her personal blog enter the goatlady and with some friends on hell bent for
wacken about their upcoming pilgrimage to the world’s largest metal festival.
Other than web-related stuff, the goatlady is a bit of a music fan and writes live and CD reviews for various publications. Her life (as well as that of her partner Dave) is run completely by two very rude, very bossy Abyssinian cats. She’s not a cat-blogger though. She swears she’s not.
Cellobella

Cellobella is a 40-something blogger from Perth who has been blogging since 2002 on her website Redsultana.com.
She blogs about anything that comes into her mind and as she reads a lot, that includes quite a few book reviews. On Aussie Bloggers she loves to get the chance to interview her fellow bloggers so if you’re keen to be interviewed - drop her a PM via the forum.
Kathie M. Thomas

Kathie is a work at home mum in Melbourne, running a Virtual Assistant network with members in 16 countries. She originally came back home to work so she could be there for her 5 daughters. Then the internet entered the scene and life took on a whole new outlook.
Kathie discovered blogging whilst researching the medium for a client 3 years ago and has become heavily addicted. Apart from blogging for her industry as a Virtual Assistant, she also owns a family blog, and several personal interest blogs on many topics. She even published a book in 2007 based on one of her blogs and has plans for another later in 2008. One of her daughters has followed suit and scored a job teaching the very subject she blogs about! Ian

Outside of work, family and blogging, Ian also likes photography, bushwalking, caves, music, sport, reading, movies among other things.
