A lot of suburbs are really different from on end to the other. Suburb View is a great resource – makes it really easy to find and compare places in specific areas within suburbs.

Investing in urban properties is the best move you can make if you want a faster turn around on your investment. It is also cheaper so buying up numerous properties would be a good idea if you can afford it.

I agree although we aren’t at the bottom of the pan yet. Middle of this year would be the optimum time to buy, but waiting to long you will risk costs increasing again.

Now is the time to buy a house, no matter what country your in. If you haven’t been hit that hard by the FC then you should consider buying a property for investment.

This is one cool blog I can’t live without .I own multiple real estate sites and you guys keep finding great products that I can integrate with them.Keep up the good work as I had never heard of street directory dot com dot au. It’s a very nice site and a little different from the usual google maps.

Suburb View looks interesting. I’ve been using http://www.street-directory.com.au/ which uses Melway maps – they are much prettier than Google Maps. After you load your map location it has Property for Sale and For Rent on the side. Click on them and you see all the rentals or sales by their location. This is a great way of finding houses near train stations. The house info on Street-Directory.com.au uses RealEstateView.com.au, but the info is not as comprehensive as Suburb View.

Another off beat but equally important site that will help your readers in finding houses for sale is PropertyNow. The site assists people who are selling their home with no agent and therefore no commission.

Theoretically that may mean a lower sale price than otherwise ( because of the lack of having to build a commission cost into the price ) …and so benefit buyer and seller alike

We are just now starting to look into buying a house and suburb view has been incredibly helpful as we want to stay near public transport.
