I remember they really promoted her in it a fair bit for the first couple of years. But I absolutely agree with you that Channel "Nein" (as I like to call them) are utterly disrespectful to many of the tv shows they air. The West Wing and The Sopranos also got similar treatment. I gave up watching all three long ago and opted to buy them on DVD instead. Six Feet Under will be the next series I am going to purchase actually. ;) However I have been catching a few of the episodes on Arena lately - via Austar (Foxtel if you're in a capital city). If you were a fan of Six Feet Under and in particular Michael C Hall you will love Dexter - one of the reasons I like it so much is you can tell Michael is having a lot of fun with it. Some people might have started watching it for that reason, but it was a really GOOD show. I'm STILL irritated with the way the network mucked with the air times during the last season and then put the series finale on at a RIDICULOUS time of night...
