Happy Australia Day!
Happy Australia Day to all our subscribers, forum members and fellow bloggers.
Please find below a sample of photos from our forum members who were asked to submit their favourite Aussie photos.
Jen submitted this photo, saying: It shows what Australia means to me because many Australians enjoy swimming. It’s the time of year when it’s usually hot and the pool or the beach is a great spot to hang out and have fun.

Kate submitted this photo saying: This is Ninty Mile Beach at Lake’s Entrance Vic.

Lani submitted this photo saying: This is the closest I can come to “Australiana”.

Missy submitted this photo from her camera phone saying: We had this koala turn up in a tree next to the carpark on campus here at Flinders a couple of days ago. My post about it, with bigger pics, is here.

Colin submitted this photo saying: This is from my phone, but it does highlight the Aussies love of cricket, being in the sun, getting decked out in Aussie flags, supporting the Aussies, playing with beach balls, drinking beer……

Kim submitted this photo saying: A photo of kookaburras taken by me on our balcony..

Meg submitted this photo saying: This is a photo of the Twelve Apostles (Great Ocean Road, Victoria) about seven years ago. Simply stunning scenery.

We will be celebrating Australia Day with a family BBQ. On Monday. The public holiday. Cause THAT is what Australia is all about! he he he
Today I will be hitting the shops with my daughters for a girls day out (2 hours away from home) shopping for back to school paraphernalia.
But my new phone is green and I am wearing gold shoes. That counts doesn’t it?
Happy Australia Day everyone!
lol I was just thinking about how beachy all those photos were (well, not all, but a fair few) and then I realised that I am travelling from here (Paradise, right next to the beach) to the Sunshine Coast for my Australia Day weekend, so I will just shut up now!
All very beautiful photos, by the way.
Great photos! We’ll be having our own little quiet Australia Day celebration here in Mexico. I found lamb in the supermarket (woohoo!) so its a lamb roast for us.
Happy Australia Day to everyone back home!
I am dusting and polishing and tidying up for my wife’s Nutrimetics Party (and working off a hangover after two days of over indulgence at the cricket test). Later on I will be ala Chipendales serving afternoon tea to 10 ladies. At least she is serving champagne. Have a lovely day everyone.
hmmm let me see, I forgoed singing in the 7:30 am mass and will be celebrating by doing what Aussies do best……. bumming around with mates. LOL!
